Moonjars with Annabelle

Have you wanted to throw a beautiful, round moonjar, but not sure where to start? Can you throw a 6+ inch cylinder? Then this 5hr workshop will be perfect for you! 

You will learn the importance of a strong base and how to ensure the clay supports itself. Considerations around form and function will be discussed and participants are encouraged to explore different designs. The workshop will include a 2hr lunch break to allow the clay to firm up. Bring basic pottery tools and clay of your choice!

$120 per person.

Handles with Annabelle

Nov 14th 6:30-9:00pm

Are you sick of extruding handles or cutting them out of slab and ready to finally perfect the art of pulling a variety of decorative and functional handles? 

If so, this evening is for you! Join us for a fun Friday night of learning. Please ensure that you bring at least a few leather hard mugs or pots which are ready to have handles added, and some extra clay.

$75 per person.

Sodium Silicate with Jenn

Variations in texture can make a piece of pottery truly pop! In this 3 hour workshop, you’ll learn how to apply sodium silicate to create gorgeous crackled texutre.

It’s important that you’re able to easily centre clay and pull 6 inch cylinders before registering for this workshop.
